    Darkseid

    Character » Darkseid appears in 1531 issues.

    Uxas, famously known as Darkseid, is the supreme monarch of the ecumenopolis, Apokolips. Widely regarded as one of the Justice League's worst adversaries, the greatest enemy of New Genesis and one of the biggest threats to the DC Multiverse, he seeks to bend everything to his will and remake the cosmos in his image, while searching for the Anti-Life Equation, an equation which seemingly consists of immense power that has the potential to dominate all life in the DC Multiverse.

    Darkseid's Omega Beams are unavoidable right?

    Not so much unavoidable has you need to be the god of speed and or prep to avoid it.

    @Wolfrazer: Nah, people avoid them all the time. It DOES involve intense speed though...Supes and Flash are the only ones who routinely avoid it I believe. Check out the first arc of Justice League for an example.

    They are, by concept, supposed to be unavoidable, but they are routinely avoided by people with really high speed.

    To answer what you asked above, no, Batman dodging them would never happen. Dodging them requires super speed on a high scale.

    I was referring to the comic versions. Pretty much everything was de-powered in the animated series, including the Omega Beams... mostly so Batman could do something cool in that episode.

    I proclaim you falser, sir (Is falser a word?)

    @Imagine_Man15: (Maybe...?)

    But yeah, I merely posted that because the dude said Batman dodged the Omega Beams and I was fairly certain he was referring to that rather than this:

    Haha, can't argue there.

    Btw I looked it up, and it just so happens that falser is indeed a word.

    Not entirely. Batman did it once. (Yeah, he's Batman, but it's still possible)

    @Wolfrazer: The Omega Beams can lock onto a target, but the target can still evade the beams.

    Barry did it by vibrating his molecules onto a Parademon in Justice League #5.
