Not so much unavoidable has you need to be the god of speed and or prep to avoid it.

@TheCrowbar:  Ok so Batman dodging them in a fight, would never happen then?

@Wolfrazer: Nah, people avoid them all the time. It DOES involve intense speed though...Supes and Flash are the only ones who routinely avoid it I believe. Check out the first arc of Justice League for an example.

@Icarusflies:  Alright, guess that answered my question then thanks.

They are, by concept, supposed to be unavoidable, but they are routinely avoided by people with really high speed.

To answer what you asked above, no, Batman dodging them would never happen. Dodging them requires super speed on a high scale.

Yep thats the video, and heck even in this there was still time for the beams to turn and still go after Batman. So ya...PIS.

I was referring to the comic versions. Pretty much everything was de-powered in the animated series, including the Omega Beams... mostly so Batman could do something cool in that episode.

I proclaim you falser, sir (Is falser a word?)

@Imagine_Man15: (Maybe...?)

But yeah, I merely posted that because the dude said Batman dodged the Omega Beams and I was fairly certain he was referring to that rather than this:

Haha, can't argue there.

Btw I looked it up, and it just so happens that falser is indeed a word.

@Imagine_Man15: Then we have both learned something today. Thank you very much, sir.

Not entirely. Batman did it once. (Yeah, he's Batman, but it's still possible)

In the Justice League cartoon (which means it doesn't count).

@Wolfrazer: The Omega Beams can lock onto a target, but the target can still evade the beams.

Barry did it by vibrating his molecules onto a Parademon in Justice League #5.
