WHAT is going on?

#1 Posted by Gumbercules (2 posts) - - Show Bio

Is anyone else having trouble with this mess?  Is it just me or has Marvel gone completely off the map when trying to follow a story?

I've read Dark Reign 7 recently and I don't know WHAT the hell is going on.  What happened with the Atlantis terrorist cell?  All of a sudden we have some opening paragraphs about all this Dark X-Men, etc.

I'm glad I download and not buy right now!!!!!  I'd hate to spend the money on all the crossovers in trying to follow this debacle!!!

The whole thing with Namor and the terrorist cell was over 2 issues ago. Sentry just went down them and killed them all in one page. You just can't keep up.

Dark Avengers 7

And yeah, I can keep up.  It didn't seem like a full resolution.  No fallout from that?

Then we're just thrust into some rioting and crap?

OK, question: has Spidey infiltrated the Dark Avengers?

Seriously, if "Dark versions of heroes have taken things over, hilarity ensues" is too hard to follow, perhaps "Tiny Titans" is more in order.

Sorry for the dig, but yeah...if you're downloading comics anyway, you have zero to complain about.

Yes, then Harry Osborn saved him. In his American Son armor.

When did this happen, and why did Spidey need saving?

It happened in the Amazing Spider-Man #597 and because Osborn was on the verge of killing him basically.

So where is Mac?
Did Spidey accomplish anything?

I don't where he is, I missed out on that issue. The only thing Spider-Man accomplished was saving Norman's life when Harry was about to kill him.

      Harry tried to kill Norman?!?!?!?!?!?!?

#14 Posted by Kastiel (8919 posts) - - Show Bio

Yes, in issue 599, you could go and buy it and see for yourself.

Mac was boxed by Sue Storm who helped Spidey infiltrate. In the end, Spidey accomplished nothing. Apart from ruin Normie's plans to implement Harry as the "American Son".

I have completely no idea what's going on in dark reign,so that's why I'm sticking with what I can follow.
Everything I know about current events I get from here on the discussion threads.

*edit: Ahhh, in ASM 595, Sue says she's going to drop Mac into the Mole Man's backyard and "it'll take him at least a week to get back"..... whether they show that or not, i don't know... : )

i think it's seriously weak if gumbercules ONLY downloads... i live in Hong Kong and some stuff isn't available over here, so sadly I've had to download the Incredibles... i don't like to do that, but sometimes, it's the only way....
