That's true, also I'm not very sure but it could be Mystique (I'm not very sure because I don't follow X-Men a lot so I don't know what's up with her)
Also whe Dark Aveners first came out everybody thought It was actually Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Hawkeye in the team but it just happens it's other people in their costumes.
Someone could easilly put on an Omega costume, Daken is on the cover what does that tell you, they can't all be good
I doubt Emma would be all that pissed about the X-force as much as everyone is fussing about it. This is after all Emma Frost we are talking about. Oh that she was kept in the dark about it will irk her but then the lady has also been keeping secrets .i.e. the Cabal Moreover she is well aware that Scott isn't on full disclosure with her nor is she naive about the ongoings of the certain team members.
I don't think that's Emma for like someone else mentioned why would she leave her A-team for that motley gathering. its probably Prior or Satyrn. Besides if Shaw got out he would want Emma's head on a plate and so would Namor for being duped by her into thinking that she killed Shaw because he wants to kill Shaw. so that takes Shaw being on that team out of the question two-folds.
Lady Mastermind is dead well at least Regan (the blond one) is. Not that that carries much weight these days. She however wasn't one of Sinisters main Marauders so I doubt she has scores of clones.
There are currently too many variables in play to reason this one. I would think its just a gimmick from the company too get a response. NOT that it would matter much to the company concerned.
So with all of the comments already made in the thread, let's try putting a Dark X-Men together again. I've just named some characters so bear with me here. I just like to guess :p
Cloak = Exodus Emma Frost = Madelyne Prior Namor = Namor Daken = Daken Prof. X = Sebastian Shaw Mimic = Mimic, Magneto.. no idea.. Dagger = Mystique maybe. Guardian = ....?
it might be a post-Messiah War thing..... I mean Emma figures out about X-Factor gets mad and makes her own Dark X-Men

When the secrets of the couple (Emma & Scott) are revealed, I believe their relationship with be broken, leading up to the rise of Jean Grey, and the "Dark" X-Men
I've read most of the X-men books. So I'll most likely read this one as well. I think I liked the Dark Characters as Dark Characters not pretending to be Good guys... 'Cause then who will destroy the world? The good guys to piss off the bad guys that are playing at being good guys? Damn that's confusing! *~* Trippy.

This nonsense won't even last a year. It's just the same old gimmicky garbage I've come to expect from mega-events like Dark Reign. Now, if I thought the Dark X-Men were actually going to be a lasting fixture in the Marvel Universe, I might give a damn. But I don't, and I don't.
does anyone else agree with my guess about prof. x being changeling? cuz he used to pose as professor but he died...maybe if madelyne pryor has something to do with it, she brought him back like she promised [i think it was] spiral that she had the power to bring back the one she truly wanted who was dead...its still just a guess

Methinks Dark X-Men is a awesome idea. It's original despite what everyone else is saying about the Dark Avengers idea being rehashed on X-Men because the Dark Avengers is a bunch of supervillains that are posing as heroes, and with Dark X-Men, it's clearly not the case. These are mutants that are operating under the Cabal and outside of Scott's jurisdiction [from what it looks like]. Emma is sick of Scott's secrets [which has been building since issue 500+, it's why she joined the Cabal] with X-Force and him calling executions on different mutants and is deciding to go her own way. Namor is faithful to Emma and the Cabal, so why not? Professor X has been in the shitter for a long time with the rest of the X-Men for a long time with the whole third Summers brother thing, the whole Fall of the Shi'ar Empire thing, the whole Danger Room fiasco and whatever other sheisty moves he's made pre-Messiah Complex and Daken is doing whatever he wants to piss Wolverine off and is also seemingly faithful to Norman.
Mutants being a driving force in the superpowered community, why wouldn't Norman want to get his hands on a team of his own X-Men?
I'm personally think I'm going to enjoy the Utopia crossover and the Dark X-Men lead-in. It's a interesting concept.
Namor is faithful to Emma? Sure, right up until he's facing off against the Fantastic Four & flirting with Sue again.
Personally I'm waiting for more details on this 'Dark X-Men' to be convinced that this is a good idea. I can't stand the inclusion of Cloak & Dagger on an X-Team, and I genuinely can't see why any of the other characters would be involved with this random and ill-sorted collection of "heroes".
He possibly does... but I still picture him dumping her as soon as Sue bats her eye lids at him. I don't think Cyclops & Emma are over, but it'd be funnier if Namor dumped her for Sue rather than just have Emma walk out on him for Scott.
As the Number one fan of Ms. Frost I can not say how funny i'd find humiliating her ]= But Her and Namor don't need to happen again... ever. Cyclops is sleeping on the couch now...
Sorry!! Although, to be honest, I think she can do better than 'consort to the King of Atlantis'... For a woman of her status, she can also do a lot better than Cyclops! I'd make him sleep in the dog house, nevermind the couch ;)
Lol i completely agree... but people that can tolerate her are few and far between... Maybe when/if Banshee returns they can rule Cassidy Keep together. And how come the Black Box thing with Cyclops hasn't been explored further?
So after listening to the Marvel Podcast on this topic I'm fairly excited about this arc. It actually seems to build off the plots of X-Men the last few years. I hope this is as good as they parties involved can make it.
