Will Osborn's scheme work?  Can you simply change a costume and make people believe it?

They will up until Norman is filmed kicking a puppy, killing somebody, going mad, etc.

i don't understand how it got this far....the government knows osborn's the green goblin yet for some reason the president still makes him the most powerful man on the planet and to make it worse obama comes in and thinks it's a good idea to let him keep the position....no good can come from this

I think Daken in particular will be welcomed with open arms by the public of the MU. The government paints Wolverine out to be a villain constently, fair enough as far as the authorities are concerned he is, he's not registered (i think) and before the Civil War he threatened to slice the president. Daken of course wants to end Logan so i think the public will be more than willing to accept him.

Lincoln is celebrated by many as the first American president to introduce the idea of civil rights reform, regardless of how it was brought on.
Samuel L. Jackson tried to blow up a school in his youth, but today he's one of the most celebrated actors in Hollywood.
Post 9/11, GWB was at first perceived by the majority as an American hero for promising revenge to family members of the WTC victims.
Robert Downey Jr. spent years in and out of rehab before becoming the most popular actor of 2008.

I think some will buy it and some won't. There will be incidents of course that Osborn will have to clean up, and as those incidents escalate, the majority of the public will begin to riot against the Dark Avengers.

The Marvel Universe citizens will buy it. I mean hell they let Tony Stark fuck up the MU & kill off Captain America so hell yeah they will embrace Venom Bullseyes & Daken until they see their true colors but who knows I know alot of peopl who are looking forward to continue to buy this series including myself in the real world.

As said in She-Hulk, they can barely remember the civil war already. So Norman as a villain is long forgotten by the general public.

It's funny that everyone's forgotten.  He was busted by Luke Cage and Spider-Man in broad daylight.  But if everyone can forget Peter and MJ were married I suppose they can forget how slimey Osborn must be.

i just have this feeling that eventually osborn's crazieness will get the better of him and he'll either get caught doing something gobliny or something really huge is going to happen and he won't be able to handle it and it'll make the marvel earth citizens realize just how good they had it under fury

I have a feeling its going to be the gobliny one. He is going to screw up somehow. Maybe kill someone when he doesn't think anybody is looking.

Well, Norman's idea is just crazy enough to work... passing off some of these deranged people as the real deal, and having actual heroes mixed in with them. And Noh-Varr should be wearing the Captain Marvel suit.

The scheme will work for a while.  The public bought into the obviously psychotic T-Bolts, and they've managed to forget all the atrocities Norman committed as the Goblin pre-Civil War, so they'll probably accept this costume change for a time.  The problem is that the 'Dark Avengers' are just a bunch of selfish, violent crazies held together by Osborn's willpower and popularity, and Norman isn't exactly sane himself.  The team is going to self-destruct spectacularly, opening the way for the real Avengers to return and restore the status quo.  And really, that's what this whole event is about: gradually reversing all the crazy bullshit that has taken place in the Marvel Universe since the Civil War.  Tony Stark and the pro-registration side are being manuvered back into the 'good guy' slot, while all the stone-cold killers who have turned the post-Civil War situation to their advantage are being set up for a big fall.

Dark Avengers  =  Awesome

#27 Posted by kevinthegamer94 (25 posts) - 4 years, 3 months ago - Show Bio

Im getting annoyed, we had the new avengers and thats cool then we got the young avengers, avenger sidekicks or whatever didnt bother me I liked that, then the civil war and we get the mighty avengers, an anti and pro registration teams okay i guess now we get the dark avengers a team of mainly villians, it seems to me if they continue to make avenger teams we'll have one for every type of hero ( or villian) they need to restore the one avenger team (young avengers can stay) as it should be.
new avengers= heroes who are normally solo
mighty avengers= heroes who are avenger classics or analouges of avenger classics
dark avengers= mainly villians now working as heroes (a renamed, new copstumed T-bolts)
young avengers= teen analouges of avenger classics
ACT NOW AND HELP CONTROL THE AVENGER POPULATION
(or every super hero team will change their name to the avengers)

What about X-Men then?  :)

I remember the symbiote splitting from Eddie and eating people on it's own in Venom the Hunger but Mac is the only Venom host revealed thus far to actually eat people alive, maybe with that said he is the best Venom ever since he has no morals, maybe he is the worst ever since he has no morals (a lot of what made original Venom so cool was his sense of justice, twisted as it was) Dark Avengers is a great team in theory, but C'Mon, you seriously think scum like Bullseye, Mac, and Norman won't screw up to such a degree they end up on the most wanted list soon?
