    Originally an idea concocted by Norman Osborn, the "Dark Avengers" were Osborn's own personal counterpart to the Avengers. The team has since become independent from Osborn's visions and mad quest for power.

    well dont forget ares too......out side of Ms Marvel I have a hard time seeing new avenger beating him........I mean when Wolverine is one of your HEAVY hitters its hard to go up aginst a team of powerhouses!

    I worte it in the new avengers preview 50..........but  I see the new avengers winning most of the match ups but ARES sentry & Marvel Boy alone will be enough to beat the new avengers to death...............wolverine of course wouldnt die but the others would

    I think Cage can handle Ares. Ares is only 70 tons and Cage has bee shown to beat those as strong (like the Wrecker and My Hyde)
    He may not beat Ares, but he could handle him til he got help.

    I dont respect cage much hes a very unskilled fighter. hes shown to be very flip floppy..... yeah he fought wrecker and kinda held his own but looked to have a hard time with HAND ninjas? I dont think he could or should take ares.  Spiderman would do better but I am sure he would have his hands full with venom!  Wolverine could fight ares for HOURS or DAYS but the best he could get is stalemate.

    I really think Bucky could take Osborn.....only cause I think osborn is not gonna be as good in the stark suit as stark of course...so Cap has a shot....and we know the shield can rip the suit to shreads!

    In any case sentry is gonna mop the floor with them all and marvel boy could more than likely do the same.

    Venom and Daken can take care of Spider-man and Wolverine.  Ares could kill Luke Cage while Sentry takes care o the rest.

    The Dark Avenger Team members look great on paper but at the end of the day, they would get it handed to them by the New Avengers.  The Dark team is nothing more than a bunch of posers with nothing to fight for.  The Avengers fight for (and here we get corny) honor and justice and for what is right.

    Sentry seems a little ineffectuall you know. Many of the New Avengers team is used to fighting people more powerful then them (Spider-Man dose that on a daily bassis). Plus the NA have a few more allies willing to help them (Thor, the Fantastic Four, Daredevil, hell if it came to it, I think Iron Man would aid them in anyway he could at this point). And lets not forget, Spider-Man and Wolverine know a total of three of the DA's members on an almost personal level giving them an edge. Though the New Avengers might be out matched in the power department, I think if the final battle of Dark Reign comes down to New Avengers vs. Dark Avengers, the New Avengers could pull off a come from behind victory.

    Sentry would demolish them and pretty much anyone you said could help except Thor.If he really gave it his all he's unstoppable.

    dark avengers are still too much NA lacks real power they need thor or herc before being able to win.
