Dark Avengers
Team » Dark Avengers appears in 445 issues.
Originally an idea concocted by Norman Osborn, the "Dark Avengers" were Osborn's own personal counterpart to the Avengers. The team has since become independent from Osborn's visions and mad quest for power.
Dark Avengers #3, Where The Action Is

This issue was pretty cool. Bullseye taking out Morgan was badass. Also, nice catch with Osborn not being in the suit.
They've sort of shown Stark in a similar situation. I didn't follow all the extremis issues so I couldn't tell if in some issues he also was controlling the Iron Man suit from afar. It does seem perfect for Norman to not want to get his 'hands dirty.' I was surprised when he decided to take on the Iron Patriot identity. He is a sneaky guy.
You seeing It I think he could be some where else piloting the suit but even if he isn't I wouldn't be surprised at all if he was just being a douche and remote controlling it really wouldn't but I'm starting to love this series more and more because its like Watchmen or Wanted they look like the classic grew up with heroes but they are really just the opposite and I love that feeling I get from knowing they are not what others think. I can't wait for the internal conflict cause no matter what Norman said he has a team thats part psycho part villain part hero and thats just crazy right there it is no doubt.
"Norman is in the suit. That is how they do Iron Man as well. "You may be right, but I think it would be alot cooler if he's actually safe an sound while the suit does all the work.
"I think that would be really awesome as well. But why would he be sitting at his computer all naked? "LMAO thats what I said, But to be honest, I do it all the time. Now try to get that mental image outta your head.
So does anyone else thing the Sentry's wife is dead? That dude is weak in my opinion. Why they ever brought him back is beyond me, but hopefully they kill him off. To bad he's not in the Ultimate U

If you guys don't agree with me, then lets see your take on it. I didn't realize that that was how they drew IRONMAN as well.
Yeah. I you hadn't read Iron Man that would probably confuse you. His Extremist tech lets him look like he is in a room and that is why they draw him like that.
It would be pretty cool if your theory came to pass but I doubt that Osborn is controlling the suit from far away, I think that's just Marvel's portrayal of what's going on in the armor, Mark Silvestri did the same thing in Avengers: THE INITIATIVE #1. Yet now-a-days in the Iron Man books, there's a more realistic portrayal of Tony in the armor, similar to the movie.
I love what Bendis has done explaining the Sentry's character. The theory (Bendis has developed) that Bobbies' isolation from humanity, his inability to behave like a human and peoples (or the superhuman communities) growing fear of him has created this Void is pretty sick. In contrast to Superman who can do both (which I have no problem with) Having a wife just isn't enough i guess, or maybe she's not the one for him, she is pretty scared of him. So is the Void real, an actual, negative reaction to his behavior/powers, or is it all in his head? Either way he needs to eat more food, and take a bath.
"So does anyone else thing the Sentry's wife is dead? That dude is weak in my opinion. Why they ever brought him back is beyond me, but hopefully they kill him off. To bad he's not in the Ultimate U"This was a problem I had in the beginning of Mighty Avengers when Tony Stark was "dude looks like a lady" and became the female Ultron. Lindy died. But then she was back. I thought she was a Skrull trying to control Bob. But she has had "talking" scenes since.
"Gambler said:Didn't he bring her back or something? I thought I read somewhere that he could do that (not sure how). The scenes with Osborn talking to Sentry lead me to believe she's dead and Sentry just leaves her dead body on the bed like the freak he is."So does anyone else thing the Sentry's wife is dead? @Deadpool now its showing up. Guess Norman is inside the suit. Thats a shame.
"He still might not be in it."
Its a possibility but the Iron Man suits do have that function now.

Yeah, as much as it doesn't make a lot of sense what exactly is going on, I've always believe Tony was in the suit and the "computer room" was a visual prop.
I think the one thing this review needed was the fact that Ares got turned to stone. That and Sentry "dying" in #2 wouldn't make sense being that Osborn then is in a flashback talking to him. Bendis might not be that stupid.
Maybe Stark just uses some Pym Particles and makes himself really small.
That image is just him floating around in the helmet. It always bothered me when it's shown like that. The helmet isn't much bigger than his face. He wouldn't have such a huge display inside. Besides, his eyeballs are right up to the eye slits. It's just all fishy to me.
Good book and great artwork. I to was wondering why after reading dark avengers i had the sudden urge to watch the fugitive and "no country for old men" and even "black moon rising" he does look ,ike tommy lee jones. I like what bendis is doing with sentry and the way norman is playing him..Kind of wish dc dis somthing like this with JLA. Why is lindy always sleeping is she really dead?

It's just a virtual thing he set up so he can look at everything and control it better (but also so it's more visually interesting for the reader and to better show all the things he can do at once).
G-Man said:IDK man.....I just don't think this it's suppose to be taken literally....cause we've seen plenty of times when Stark was using Extermis he could break apart the external armor instantly, that would have to be a pretty quick growth transforma......................................................................................................

...............OMG I just realized that Osborn is using Extermis armor and he's pretty much a cyborg.......HOLY CRAP
I mean I knew before but now it's aaaalllllll sinking in..........man I'm slow.
About Sentry wife, she is pretending to be asleep. Did no one notice her in horror when Norman and Sentry left the room?
Here's another image of Stark inside his armor. Guess I was wrong as well. I still think it would have been badass had Osborn not been inside.
