Despite retcons, deaths and alternate incarnations, many super-heroes are always identified to having a definitive love interest that kind of define the characters themeselves. Spider-Man has Mary Jane, Superman has Lois Lane, Flash has Iris, Green Lantern has Carol Ferris, Wonder Woman has Steve Trevor etc.. Matt Murdock, aka the man known as DD, has had many relationships over the years, but who do you think is his "main" love interest?

Ι prefer Elektra. Their connections as characters is deep. And both characters' best stories feature their connection. Plus she is Greek.

I never really cared about Karen. She was the classic silver age interest but with a twist in the Dark Age to make her relevant. I guess she is ok and I don't hate her but she has nothing to offer in the long run.

Yeah she's arguably his well known popular interest. Though him and Black Widow had a lengthy one. For time his book had Black Widow in the title.

Maybe Karen interests people because of how flawed she is compared to most traditional love interests. Kevin Smith said that he killed her off because he didn't know how to make her interesting. Though as we saw in the show at certain times, she has a lot of potential down the road.

Karen Page, I always feel like he loved her the most of the big 3.

Milla shouldn't even be mentioned. Top 3 are Karen, Elektra, and Black Widow. Milla was a mistake.

A huge one.She's the sole reason why I'd never put Bendis above Miller.She was freaking annoying and a massive liability with the personality of a cardboard box.

That's an insult to all cardboard boxes. I'm glad she's basically been forgotten. She nearly ruined Daredevil for everyone.

Karen Page or Elektra. I think Natasha was his best girlfriend, but that relationship felt more like lust than love.

Matt should really stick to dating other superheroes, preferably popular ones with no chance of getting killed off.

I think that some people are confusing "best" with "main" because there are plenty of characters whose "best" love interest is not the one that people associate the character with. For example, I think that Wonder Woman's best love interest is Nemesis, but most people do not associate her with Tom Tresser.

Anyway, answering the question, I think that Elektra for now is the one that most people associate with Daredevil, and a lot of that stems from the 2003 film.

Karen Page on the other hand is the worst. Do I really need to point out Born Again? Do I need to point out all the times Karen has been the idiot damsel in distress putting Matt and Foggy in so much danger I've already lost count of how many times? At least when Milla was held hostage by Melvin Potter, she tried to reason with him - tried to remind him of who he was beneath all that rage. Not Milla's fault Mr. Fear got to her first and poisoned her mind. Milla, despite being blind was stronger than Karen Page (even dead Karen was causing problems). Milla may have been a "liability" but remember that she NEVER sold him out like Karen did. The worst is it wasn't even to save someone or herself - she sold him for drugs.

The Karen and Matt relationship has been this cyclical pattern of dysfunction. Kevin Smith did the right thing and put her out of her misery. There's a reason why Karen Page remains dead. The only reason she's there in that list is she's the longest relationship he's dad.

She's the worst part of Bendis's run. she's annoying, bland, whiny, her design is boring, and she's completely unworthy of having the status of being the only woman Matt married. Karen Page is written fine outside of Miller. Ann Nocenti and D.G. Chickhester did a great job writing her. Her death was pitiful and unnecessary, even Smith admitted Karen's death was a mistake, he only did to spike sales. People that hate Karen are usually the ones who don't know anything about her besides Born again.
