As a child, Matt Murdock was blinded by radioactive waste while saving a stranger. In turn his other senses were heightened to superhuman sharpness, and he gained a form of "radar sense". By day he is a successful trial lawyer, but by night he guards Hell's Kitchen as Daredevil.

If Murdock caught a cold

Yeah, the title looks like something some douchebag troll kid would write up with ALL his spare time, but alas, it is not; sorry to disappoint.
 
I've got a cold, which is a pain in the ass, and it got me thinking - how do heightened senses individuals deal with a cold. Of course, this is the world of comics and they clearly don't have time to deal with the issues of being a normal person. Still, it would be an interesting thought.
 
Would Matt experience a cold with much greater severity? His heightened sense of touch would make it a lot more uncomfortable in my opinion, I mean, a sore throat would be a hell of a lot more painful with Matt's senses. What about a blocked nose? Would he still be able to track a scent?
