This is kinda true. As I always say: the theatrical made me want to murder the director at first. Then the directors cut made me want to murder the producer instead for cutting ALMOST AN HOUR OF FILMING!!!!

I admit, Daredevil got overall bad publicity for the movie, cause no one ever got to SEE what the movie was originally supposed to be. I have always said the director gets too much crap for this stuff. He did Daredevil and Ghost Rider, and originally, they were PLANNED to be awesome movies, but outside sources F###ed up the movies both times.
In Daredevil, the producer cut the whole freakin' STORY out of a STORY-DRIVEN movie. DAMN YOU PRODUCER!
In Ghost Rider, Johnny Blaze was supposed to be a badass alcoholic biker, but Nicholas Cage came in and thought 'it would be funny if he watched cartoons and ate jellybeans out of a wine glass'. WHAT THE F### IS SUPPOSED TO BE FUNNY ABOUT A BIKER WITH A FLAMING SKULL! DAMN YOU NIC CAGE!
only read it the other day, and thought it was amazing and i noticed all the nodes to some of smiths films and friends throughout the story, can't believe that i've been missing out on such an awesome character
@ReverseNegative: The Director's cut made it feel like an entirely different movie and a much better one at that and I don't care what anyone says Duncan was good as Kingpin
Have loved Daredevil for well over a decade, but haven't been keeping up for a few of those years. I saw the Daredevil movie for the first time ever a couple days ago, as well. I overlaid the Rifftrax commentary. It made it a hell of a lot better. A lot. I recommend it.
As horrifying as the movie was, it got me thinking about Daredevil again. By that rationale, the Daredevil movie is awesome. I should catch up.
