Remember that tease we heard before about DD joining a Marvel team? Well it is happening, this September to be precise. One of the few major Marvel characters to have never been an Avenger is about to finally become one.

I like the idea.Marvel has insisted that only way for a character to remain popular and pull in readers is through events and appearances.Shadowland is over which was a period where more people read Daredevil than any.They kept him out of every single possible event they could between him going to jail and just being absent.Joining the Avengers will give him some much needed exposure.He's also joining the New Avengers of all teams.He's not out of place.He's worked with every character on that team heavily in his time as a hero accept for Ms.Marvel.Strange,Wolverine,Cage,Iron Fist,Hawkeye,The Thing,Spider-Man all characters that Daredevil has teamed up with before and on numerous occasions.Not Hawkeye so much but the rest of them.

Good thing that Bendis said he didn't include Daredevil in the new avengers because he was too much of a lone-wolf to fit....

I liked Daredevil as a solo hero but this change might be good for the character.  I guess will have to wait and see.

Pretty happy about this.  DD was there at the beginning of Bendis' New Avengers, and I always felt a little robbed that he was taken off.  This is great.

Not sure how I feel about this either really, I’ve always been a fan of Daredevil and started following DD at #500 though this just seems to be odd timing, yeah he’s returning and that’s good (if a little to soon) though I would rather him have made a low key return and just build up from there before jumping in on an Avengers team.

Also I’ve never had a problem with Spider-Man being on the Avengers, seems like a good progression but not Wolverine, no way. That has always never sat well with me at all, X teams no problem but something like the Avengers just seems out of place with who he is and the types of things he does.

I know that he has history with Cage and some others so that fits but I just don't see DD as a team guy. I guess it's no big deal as I most likely won't be getting the series anyway but if that's what it takes to make him more popular and make sure he never loses his solo series then I'm cool with it. Kinda sucks I'll miss out on some DD but I miss out on all the Wolverine stuff that takes place in the Avengers also.
