Well i have been following Daredevil for sometime and i have thought within this time period that Daredevil actually has TONS of problems. To enlighten you Matt has been found out to be Daredevil, his wife was driven insane by Mr. Fear, he has some old guy called Master Izo getting on his nerves about what he should do about The Hand that is now starting to attack him and his friends, he's been spied on by his wife's parent's for being with Dakota North, and to top all that off, The Kingpin is back in town because his lover and her children have been killed at the hands of Lady Bullseye. So yes Daredevil is a tough boyscout to endure all this but it will be nothing to this issue as i reveal it to you.
Back on track, the issue starts off with a thug named "Turk" leading Wilson Fisk to Josie's bar where Kingpin makes his presence in Hell's Kitchen noticed and is going to start a war with The Hand. Daredevil has found the P.I. that was spying on Daredevil for Milla Donovan's parents and beats him until he agree's on giving him the picture's, (and as you'll find out later in this comic) and sayind sorry to Dakota. Then he meets up with Milla's parents about the custody arrangement only to get yelled at again, once he gets home and starts working out, Dakota comes in his house and starts going off at Matt for beating and scaring the P.I. into appologizing to her, after that Matts street informant tells him that the Kingpin is back and that he wants to meet with him. Daredevil finds Kingpin and Kingpin tells him what happened in Spain and that he wants revenge. Kingpin actually makes a pact with Daredevil to take The Hand down together.
The elements of this story are really felt though i think most of this issue was build up to "the pact" Daredevil and Kingpin made and it only really lasted two pages and there could have been more dialogue but it was alright. I'd give the story 4 out of 5
The art was good courtesy of Michael Lark & Stefano Gaudiano for their masterpiece and really dark noirish feeling to this issue and basically every issue they have. I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5
This issue was really good and i am waiting eagerly for the spectacular 500th issue of Daredevil, so you should pick this up and start reading this, its really good.
