So we finally find out who's been tormenting DD and it all boils down to the final show down!

Waid has been doing a great job of balancing drama and action. He builds suspense. We've been trying to figure out who's been torturing DD and now that we know Waid doesn't stop building things up. Just before the final battle there's some good foreshadowing. The villains know DD well so they've set traps to ruin him but DD is able to out smart them which is a relief when you read it! Waid is so good even though you know DD is gonna find a way out of a potentially huge mess you are still sweating bullets while you read!

Of course Samnee really knows how to sell the scenes. Compared to the current style of art work in most books Samnee is not only a breath of fresh air, he is schooling everyone on the drama. You could describe his work as simple and blocky but really it's dark and dramatic. I feel like I'm reading a book by an old pro who really knows the root of these characters and of DD. You can feel how tired Matt is when he's talking to Foggy or DD's furry when he means business.

I hope I don't give anything away but the actual battle at the end felt abit rushed. At the end of issue 25 Ikari nearly killed DD so I was waiting for DD to really get back at him. He did but it was abit unsatisfying. I really wanted him to beat the snot out of Ikari but there was alot to wrap up and it really did end so well!

The end of the Ikari arc finds Daredevil squaring off against both Ikari and Lady Bullseye as well as learning more about the serious events that led to Bullseye's current state as a super-villain criminal genius in a box. Although Mark Waid pulls a little bit of a fast one here as the issue has far less action that you'd suspect for the arc's conclusion, it does fill in some blanks and show off Daredevil out thinking his enemies leaving the question unanswered whether or not Daredevil could act...
