    Introducing Mike Murdock

The book begins with Matt Murdock getting off of a plane when he hears the sounds of giant springs. The Frog Man ( before he is in costume ) has decided to test his springs ( or in Stan Lees vernacular his unstoppable springs ).  I can't even believe the audacity of contrivances that we are being asked to swallow even on the first page.
Are we really supposed to believe that Frogman made his springs, then the only place he could think to test them was a busy airport, and it just so happened to take place at the very same time Matt was exiting the plane? Okay, here is a little confession. Years after this, they change the Frogman to a fight high school kid who helps Spiderman. I like him then.
Here he is a typical Daredevil Villain. Yet the book is kind of fun. I know it is a very simple and stupid story, but it is also entertaining. I can recommend it, but do not dare bring logic or reason to the table. It will fall apart if you do.  After all, this is the first appearance of Mike Murdock. See, Karen is suspicious of Matt to begin with, but then she opened a letter from Spiderman to Matt Murdock saying he would keep his secret Identity.
When approached about it, Matt told Karen he had a twin, and it is he who is in fact Daredevil. When we meet Mike Murdock he is a hipster using slang, and insulting Foggy. Makes me wonder if this is really how he feels about his partner. Either way, Mike Murdock could be one of the worst things to ever be placed into the Marvel Universe.
