Overlong and Talky, But 'Daredevil' is Moving in the Right Direction
In the second part of 'The Organizer' storyline, Daredevil is sure Deborah is a pawn of 'The Organizer', but even the Cat Man, who is now in police custody, can shed no light on The Organizer's actual identity.
When Deborah draws the line at murder, she becomes a liability to The Orgainzation, and so Daredevil recruits her help to lay a trap for Frog Man. In an ambush outside The Organization's headquarters, Daredevil ambushes Frog Man and switches costumes with him, turning the 'Daredevil' dressed Frog Man over to the police, and using the Frog Man costume's built in camera to collect and broadcast evidence over local TV.
When Bird Man, Ape Man and The Organizer dump the 'Frog Man' which is really Daredevil down a pit and leave him for dead, Matt Murdock returns home for a spare Daredevil costume, and then attends the final party at the Reform Party's headquarters, where he gets into a final showdown with The Organization, and reveals The Organizer's true identity.
Stan Lee does an O.K. job at wrapping up the mystery that was set-up (and probably the plot was already resolved by) Wally Wood. My biggest complaint is that he overdoes it, scripting way too much. Every panel of action is overwhelmed by a lot of talk.
Still, this newer focus on corrupt politicians and street-level crooks is exactly what Daredevil should be about, and for that I'm glad at the direction the comic seems to be heading in. But the last panel promises a new artist...
