englentine's Daredevil #1 - The Origin of Daredevil review

Strong Opener

This is a deep book when you consider a lot of the other silver age debuts. The origin focuses enough on Matts father, to truly explain his motivations later in life.  Bill Everett draws a good book.  It is the story that is the stand out, giving us a detailed account of Matts growth as a physical powerhouse as well as letting us see the developing friendship between Foggy and Matt.
Over all it is a strong first issue, and promises good things to com.

I wasn't interested in DD at all until he made an appearance in Amazinf spider-Man. Then I found this issue free on the Marvel Comics app and have been reading DD's back catalogue since! It really is a great 1st issue.
