    Short summary describing this company.

No recent wiki edits to this page.

Darby Pop Publishing was founded in 2013 by television writer/producer Jeff Kline (Transformers: Prime, Transformers: Robots in Disguise, Transformers: Rescue Bots, G.I. Joe: Renegades, Jackie Chan Adventures).

Darby Pop Publishing releases predominantly creator-owned titles as an extension of Kline's eclectic production company, Darby Pop Productions. Darby Pop′s current distribution partner is IDW Publishing, and Darby Pop was IDW′s first original-i.p. imprint. Cover artists have included: Howard Chaykin, Bernard Chang, Jose Lopez, Tony Fleecs, Tommy Lee Edwards, and Eisner Winner Andrew Robinson.

To date, all books published by the company have been written and created by film and television writer/producers, prompting Kline to remark that "Everyone in comics wants to break into Hollywood, but we're breaking Hollywood into comics."
