@frisky4: Well... I'll admit I'm not perfect. I miss-read the OP. Bare minimum that a full power Dante can be defeated by?

- Madara Uchiha (Edo, Jinchuriki, and Revived)

- Samurai Jack

- I think Star Wars has some characters that can do it. Like Luke who can create black holes.

- Superman (I had to)

- World War Hulk (Hulk has taken multi-trillion ton punches that have knocked him into an entirely different continent and was not only a-ok. But was barely even effected by that punch).

The Dovahkiin (If you've read a lot of the lore you would know why he beats Dante).

There are some others too but here are the ones I came up with on the spot.

Obsidian. He's omnipresent and can reform from any damage done to him.

Also, the Shade for the same reasons.

Dante is really hard to put down and his undeniable versatility as well as raw talents makes him a trickily unpredictable character it would take a High-Tier Telepath to really do it.

I think Martian Manhunter or Emma Frost could do it but I`m not completely sure due to the type of character Dante is. He`s not a typical mutant, human, alien, life form, etcetera. He`s a half demon, half human hybrid and his mind is connected to his willpower as well as soul/life-force it would take absurd amounts of magic to truly phase him since that`s how his universe tends to work.

I think He-Man, could possibly win in a hard but good fight, however that depends on how the fight starts and I`m not really sure how He-Man will be able to bypass some of Dante`s abilities its hard to say.

Probably Spider-Man.

Composite Kratos wins imo. Sephiroth is continent level from what I heard.

@deus: Kratos tanks volcanic eruptions without getting scratched. Dante gets run through by swords and bullets. Bayonetta would stomp Dante.

@synchronized_123: I wouldn't say Bayo stomps. Dante withstood the strength of the Savior statue, denoting great physical strength and body durability. Bullets and swords have visible effects, but bullets don't have visible effects, and only high-powered individuals in his universe managed to actually hurt him with swords. Besides, Dante's regeneration compensates for his lack of durability. Dante's Quicksilver should keep up with Bayo's Time Magic, until he runs out of Devil Trigger power of course. And both have a massive array of skills, weapons, and spells. I say Bayo wins by the skin of her teeth because she has a marginal advantage of strength and durability

@eggnogui: The Savior was pretty hollow, considering that Nero was fighting, that priest like demon(forgot the name) inside it. They're obviously censoring it. It would be a bit too brutal if they showed bullet wounds and slash marks. Probably because they can actually hit him with a sword. Agreed. Dante won't have time to use it if Bayonetta manages to use Witch Time first. Bayonetta was also fighting in space.

@synchronized_123: omg I made a mistake, I wanted to say bullets don't pierce Dante's skeleton not "don't have visible effects". I meant that Dante gets shot, there's an entry wound, but he doesn't appear to suffer any decent damage at all. Not that it changes what you meant.

Morals off Superman flies into orbit and fries Dante. Any morals off Super Saiyan just planet busts. Apollo doors him. Flash would bfr or pummel him. Any decent green lantern. Telepaths with enough combat speed or durability beat him.
