Someone to fly
This issue ends up becoming a victim of its own success, or more accurately the success of the series as a whole. The previous two issues leading into this one were full of suspense and fun though meaningful character interactions. This issue on the other hand is far more divided in terms of the story development. As was referred to in the previous issue there is a threat to the team aboard the Flag as well as the impending battle between Storm Shadow and Snake-Eyes. Unlike elsewhere in the series, these are treated like two separate developments, instead of being woven together. There is also a lack of other characters being used here as the main teams of G.I. Joe and Danger Girl are mostly ignored except for the other two sub-plots going on. This is not a disappointment exactly, as it is still fun, it is only that based on previous issues that this one could have been a lot more fun.
