Conan the Barbarian was transported to the future, and was running from the cops when he met Danette. He thought her taxi was a demon that had eaten her and he attacked it. Danette calmed him down and saved him from the police. Danette brought him home and began confiding to him even thought they couldn't understand each other. When the lights went out Conan comforted her . Later in the night Conan heard some looters, Danette convinced Conan to use non-lethal force and he listened. Danette could tell Conan was homesick so she helped him find a way home. Conan saw a picture of the
Guggenheim Art Museum and thought he could get home by going over there. Conan and Danette found looters at the museum, and one of them shot her, causing Conan to go berserk and kill them all. Conan was hurt, but would live. Danette gave Conan her beret, and Conan gave Danette his gold armband. The police came and Danette held them long enough for Conan to get back to his own time.
