    Once upon a time in the desert, when the land was crossed by salt- and gold-laden caravans, there was one oasis no one dared to enter. Travellers stayed away from it, considering the place a realm of death and danger. The lost oasis of Zerzura, in the Great Sands Sea, was fabled in ancient Arab books and considered a place haunted by the djinns, the demons of the desert. For decades European explorers – such as the members of the Zerzura Club and the Desert Patrol: Major Bagnold, Count Almasy, and Prince Kemal El Din – went looking for the oasis to no avail. Today: While in the remote lands of Nubia Matthew Shady is under the influence of the charming Kushite Queen Nawidemak, and Tesla is fighting a devilish lion-god, Harlan and Kurjak are in Darfur, looking for some trace of the mysterious oasis. The only people who can help them are the beautiful and brave Samantha King, grand-granddaughter of explorer Harding King, and her friend Cameron, retired British SAS soldier. A new Desert Patrol is forming, to confront the dangers of the Sahara and find the legendary Zerzura...
