@captain13: The Young Justice cartoon had very little to do with the Young Justice comic, the show's title should have been something like "Teen Titans 2.0" or something like that.

Why do DC have to be such morons about this? First they kill the best Robin, then they hint at his return, make it so obvious, now if they bring someone else instead, it's just going to be another bitchslap to Damian fans.

Bring him back. It's the only logical conclusion to what Tomasi's doing, anything else would be too out of left field.

He was my favorite Robin, and his relationships and interactions with the Bat-family were so unique, special, and different than anything we've had from previous Robins. I'd hate to lose that.

Death is already cheap in comics, so long as a resurrection is done in a creative, well thought out manner like Tomasi's seemingly doing, I have no problem at all with it happening.

Damian WILL come back (and he will be Batman in the future...I hope).

@captainmarvel4ever: Young Justice is part of the Justice League. Teen Titans are not. And the show was still called Young Justice.

@captain13: Yes but most of those characters from the show had little or nothing to do with Young Justice. For example Miss Martian has always been a Teen Titans member, and was never in a Young Justice comic. Plus the entire premise of the show was teen heroes and sidekicks forming there own team to prove they are just as capable as the adults, just like the Titans. The closest thing to Young Justice on screen was an episode of Batman Brave and the Bold called "Sidekicks Assemble" (ironically that team was based on the Titans).

Doubt you've even read a story with him.

As much as I love the kid, and I do want him back, I think I'd rather wait a while longer. Maybe another year or two. I think it'd have a much greater effect when he returns, which I'm sure he will eventually. Not only that, but I really would love a brand new Robin (that's not Stephanie.)

I think he's coming back. No one else has the training to take the mantle yet. I see Stephanie being one of Snyder's characters in the new 52. And while the Batman book will jump to the aftermath of Eternal soon I think making her Robin in December would undermine the Spoiler/Cluemaster story in Eternal.

Morrison has said killing Damien was in the plan for a while so I'm sure Tomasi knew this when developing his run on this book. Every volume has made Bruce a better father and Damien a better son. Changing that aspect would hurt this book more than help it.

@captain13: the cartoons roster was basically a Teen Titans team as well.

Superboy was the only member of the original roster to have actually been a member of YJ in the comics.

back when they first killed him, I figured it was so they could have some diversity & make the next Robin a girl. Even though ,to me anyway, Robin=Bat-Boy/Lad so its not really possible to have a female Robin, just like a guy cant be a Bat-girl, I figured Spolier or Carrie would be the next Robin. Still do. Especially since no one is Nightwing, so Damien becomes Nightwing, & Spoiler is the new Robin. Carrie shouldnt even be born yet.

I was never comfortable with Damian dying. I know that might make me a wimp, but a little kid dying was too much for me.

As some have said, I'm all about the story. If they find a good reason to bring him back, then by all means, but not to suit up as Robin, and not as Jason Todd 2.0. They have an opportunity to do something cool here.

I think he should be brought back, and brought back soon, because dead he adds nothing to the whole Batman mythos. Really, they spent almost 2 decades milking Jason Todd for every bit of dead-son/dead-robin angst they could muster. Batman incorporated (Ha!) the loss of child in to his character, and moved beyond it. If Damian stays dead, all he does it fit into the Martyred-Robin(tm) slot formerly held by Jason Todd. If he comes back eventual, some years later, having issue with Bruce not saving him, he's still retreading the ground covered by Jason Todd. Don't get me wrong, I loved that arch, but doing it twice is stupid.

Ahhh, but if Bruce goes off the rails and crosses lines to get Damian back? And he has to deal with the fallout from that decision? THAT would be new. But they need to do it soon while emotions are still high. They can't keep Bruce manic too long, or it will get boring fast, and they can't justify Bruce flipping out years down the line when he's already accepted Damian's death.

He doesn't have to be Robin, or even whole, though. Actually, Zombie-Damian would be cool. :D
