do you really belive he is dead?? he showed up in wolverine and deadpool both after his "death" and the way the final issue was laid out made it seem to be he was faking it whats everyones thoughts?

It's modern comics, and Marvel at that. I learn to take almost all deaths with a massive grain of salt, so there's always a belief that they're not actually dead.

He is as gone as any other dead character, meaning only dead until someone wants to use him again.

im just not convinced he is "ment" to be dead ya know? like i got a feeling rob williams arc is being pushed under the rug

100% sure he is alive,it was all staged maybe in the future they will "revive" him!

He is the type of character to fake his death to make it easier for him to pull string & manipulate things from behind the scenes, Wolverine, SHIELD & whoever else won't be looking for him if they think he is dead.

Death and Resurrection occurs in Marvel just as much as an issue being released occurs.

They can't just kill off Wolverine's son forever.

i liked daken and i feel like the only one. i hope he comes back and kicks @$$ like he did during his series and in wolverines book.

Was reading an interview with Remender on Newsarama and he says that he's building on Rob Williams character development on Daken and will explain how he's still alive. Remender's kept things pretty well coordinated with so far (e.g. WATXM Evan / Angel stuff with Jason Aaron), so I trust to the guy to be doing the same where Daken is concerned. Don't jump to conclusions of crappy continuity just yet!

In Remender, I trust. Hah, but all kidding aside, I'm pretty interested to see what Remember will do with Daken now that he's in the hands of a good writer and all that Heat stuff is finally over and done with.

I hope when he does come back he will surprise Wolverine while Wolverine is already in a battle with Romulus or Sabretooth and when he shows up Wolverine isn't surprised until Daken pops his reclaimed 3rd claw made of the soul sword or whatever. I want him to be that lethal again
