    Ok, I admit I had never heard of this guy until Dark Avengers. But the concept of Dark Reign and these new Avengers is too cool to ignore. I do have some questions though, if anyone knows. Does Daken have two claws on each hand or three with one underneath? I have seen pictures of both. (The three with one under is WAY cooler.) Last, if he heals like dear ole' dad, how can he keep that tatoo, since all tatoos are is scar tissue? Does his healing factor differ somehow? Has this been touched upon already? Thanks guys!

    First, this should be in the Daken forum. But....

    1. Daken does have three claws with one under his forearm. He just doesn't always use the third claw.
    2. He does have a healing factor like his father
    3. They never explained how he got the tatoo, cause unlike most mutants Daken was born with his healing factor

    I do not think this was confirmed. I know he was in a relationship and his girl friend start crying and yelling at him cause she though he was cheating on her with a guy, and he went with it. Saying how he and this guy went off to a motel and stuff,  but what actually happened was he took the guy to a motel and killed him. 


    Daken is one cold mo fo, he is colder than Wolverine.

    He's not sinister and evil, he just hates his dad, but that being said he is not a good guy either. He is just doing this to piss of Logan.



    However, now that you mention it what does motivate Daken, what are his goals?


    Lifted from Wikipedia so I am not sure how reliable this is:

     Cyclops sees Daken (disguised as Wolverine on the Dark Avengers) as a liability and plans to kill him with the Muramasa blade to protect the image of the X-men. It is revealed, however, that he agreed to join the Dark Avengers as a way to draw out Cyclops to take the Muramasa blade from his possession. 


    Dark X-men

    According to released covers and interviews with the writers, it appears that Daken (in his Dark Wolverine persona), will be joining the roster of Emma Frost's Dark X-men during the X-Men/Dark Avengers six-part crossover 'Utopia'. Whether or not he will remain part of the Dark Avengers is unconfirmed, but since his father was (is) simultaneously a member of the X-men, the New Avengers and X-Force, there would appear to be precedent.
