    "Flatfoot Duck"

    Hi. John Lustig here. I've tried to add my name to the credits here, but I'm not having any success. So here's my comment. "Flatfoot Duck" in Daffy Duck #112 was my first published comic book story. (My editor was Dell Connell.)

    I wrote it just before (or just after) I graduated from college. I got my first journalism job shortly after that and (unfortunately) didn't write another comic book story and have it published for about 10 years.

    In "Flatfoot Duck" Daffy pretends to be a private detective who is determined to find out who has been stealing and eating Elmer's food.
