    Cythonna, the Kryptonian Goddess of Ice and Darkness, is Rao's opposite counterpart. Her sheer strength and power could only be contained, not destroyed, by Rao many eons ago, and she's held a terrible grudge against him ever since her imprisonment. Eons later, she escaped her imprisonment and made her way to Earth, where she battled Superman. With her infinite power, Cythonna nearly killed Superman, but was imprisoned by Rao with the help of his descendent.

    Will DC ever use her ever again?

    There are characters in DC that have great potential that seemingly get pushed into the shadows.

    This is especially true for Superman's rogues.  Cythonna being a dark goddess of Krypton gives Superman an enemy unlike another, and unlike Dumbsday who's a walking plot device, she can and as a real threat to him.

    I would love to see this character brought up as the master of H'el after being corrupted as badly as he has been. She would be a better foe or maybe even make her a villain who Superman can maybe change into a Anti-hero or at least someone who could be useful as a Love Rival for WW and LL.

    From the fanart image of her DCAU character design, I imagined an animated movie set in that universe titled, "Superman and Nightwing" which would take place around when Superman made the switch to the Beyond solar suit but before Starro latched unto him. Where he teams up with Nightwing (now around Batman's typical age) against her. She seems like a fitting villain for a Superman and Nightwing team up in my mind for some reason.
