He was best friends with Warlock, but was killed while defending Wolfsbane in battle. He was forcibly resurrected during Necrosha, and soon returned to the X-Men as a powerful strategist.

    According to http://servalindustries.com/meet-the-team/ Cypher inspired Tron. Is it true, because I have research the inspirations for Tron and I have not found Cypher as one of the inspirations. And also I found out that if President Obama wanted to have any superpower, it would be Doug's. The power to speak and understand any language there is to man. He wants it so he can better America's relationship with the rest of the world.

    Nevermind, it turns out that Cypher was introduced to the Marvel universe in 1984 and Tron came out in 1982.
