Cynthia von Doom is the mother of Victor von Doom (aka Doctor Doom).
Cynthia was a part of a clan of gypsies who dwelt within Latveria. She married Werner von Doom and gave birth to a son they named Victor. She always believed he was a special boy and encouraged him greatly. She is skilled in witch craft and powered by a demon named Mephisto, whom she called upon for power. It was under his influence that she murdered many people. Eventually she was shot and killed by a soldier.
