    That was from First Class right? Magneto had already spent time as both a good guy and a bad guy when that was written. They've been heading in the direction of Scott as the successor to both Xavier and Magneto for some time. So yeah, it's a good bit of foreshadowing, but it's not like it was such a big leap when that comic was made.
