@Larkin1388: Yes, he's the best X-character by miles. :)

Cyclops was kind of passive in Second Coming.

@FadeToBlackBolt:  i like everyone except cyclops jubilee and jean grey until she becomes the phoenix.

@Larkin1388: I agree that Jubilee and Jean are very average.... Ok, they suck. But Cyclops is great! He's turned himself from a traumatised and unloved orphan into the greatest leader in comicdom.

@FadeToBlackBolt: I don't feel he's that great of a leader. I think he gives orders but doesn't exactly know what he's doing. I feel that he lacks experience, or should i say that he doesn't exactly learn from his mistakes and then ignores his experience. He should rely more on his gut than whats traditional action for certain situations.

He's unified the entire mutant race and saved them from extinction... That's a decent effort.

He's a great leader when it comes to generalship. But as far as actually leading goes, he's kinda screwed, he can lead mutants but he can't lead just anyone.

Cyclops is also quite stoic.

Plus... he's always got Xavier to fix his mistakes.

He did what Xavier never could. He saved Mutantkind.

I believe he was acting for Xavier, he not exactly in combat condition. Like a good puppet cyclops did what he was told.

#18 Posted by FadeToBlackBolt (23334 posts) - - Show Bio
@Larkin1388: Um, Xavier had been shot in the head. Pretty sure that means his mental faculties weren't up to par. Cyclops did what he knew was best, and the World owes him for it.

Plus... this entire post is about him being a douche... not a leader.... what to douche up the party fadetoblackbolt.
