Yes, she'll be fine. And people really need to stop mistaking "relaunch" for "reboot". Bleedingcool jumped the gun and called it a reboot, then every other site followed suit. DC then came out and officially said it was a company wide relaunch. The only characters who are in danger are legacy characters, and characters with multiple versions existing at the same time (like Powergirl).

On the other hand -- if she still exists they can retrofit her 15 or 16 years old and place her somewhere like the Titans.

No. Given DC's new policy of pants only, she can longer actually technically exist. Its like a magical retconning gust of wind came along and blew her away.

I'll drop DC after August. Cyclone was the one that inspired me reading DC and without her... I'll read Dc again when she reappeared.

You can if they are short pants and put some accesories that move with the wind. Look at Harley who wears a tanga techincally. As I said before I'll drop DC if Maxine doesn't appear. She could be a better Red Tornado than the Emo-robot and the writers could be either Matt Sturges or Jen Van Meter (both loved Maxine) and the artist could be Amanda Corner or Jesus Merino.
But if Maxine doesn't appear, DC will die for me in August.

Honestly, there are very few "cute" characters in mainstream comics.  You would've thought DC would have pushed a character like Maxine -- who would have been a natural win with the anime fangirls.  Picture a Cyclone series by Jen Van Meter and Amy Reeder.  There is the "diversity" DC is looking for -- without pandering....

Yes, Amy Reeder is a good artist too...
I hope she reappear soon in DC alongside the JSA (Didio was a jerk giving a "rest" to the JSA, with the right team of writer and artist everything is possible is not the fans' fault that he is a useless writer, cause have you read his Outsiders run? And I'm sure that OMAC will be another epic failure).

Unfortunately, Justice Society hasn't been a top 10 book since around November of 2008. The drop from that period of time to the current resting place around #50 is probably a central reason why it was cancelled. While still marked high above others, that drastic change is pretty significant.

It will, of course return, and the time off will, as it happened before, allow the book to regain its place as a chart topper.

I'm disappointed to not have Cyclone for a bit, as she is one of my top (3) characters, but reasonably I can understand the temporary sidetracking. She will be back. Count on it.

Yea -- I think everything will be back in a couple of years.  Most bad ideas die under their own weight -- & the DCnU is one massively bad idea....
