The Heroic Age reaches the X-Men in the first storyline of the new X-Men series. Vampires from around the globe descend on San Francisco, seeking to add the mutant race to their ranks.

saying no chance is a little hard for me to agree with. given the adverts with Blade, X-Man (fought vampires, check his series) and a possible vampire Jubilee, as well as the other Heroic Age solicits with Captain Britain and Black Knight from MI:13? also Spider-Man was a foe of Dracula's, obviously. in fact as someone else brought up the Mutant X storyline, therein Elektra teamed up with the X-Men to fight the team of the Beyonder and Dracula. repercussions? add to it Marvel decided they wanted to make Dracula into a more prolific villain, on Dooms level in the Marvel U, and are commemorating the fact that they acquired the rights to publish Bram Stokers work in the same month. there are alot of coincidences there if you ask me. i cant really rule out that the writers looked at the story in MI:13 (and really death is to Dracula as is sleep) and got inspired to have the X-Men once again fight there classic foe. and really back when Tomb was running everyone fought him on a consistent basis. would you really be that "severely disappointed " if the worlds greatest vampire hunter had to go against the worlds greatest vampire again? and if not Dracula then who else should it be, and could it be?

ok, the heroic age story with MI:13 is already known, they're being honored by captain america as well as one of them is going to be recruited to the Secret Vengers MI:13 already killed dracula, as did doom in a brother voodoo title (although those may have been clones) Dracula isn't the only vampire villain in marvel If you read the MI:13 story, you'd see they really covered all their bases, Excalibur killed his body, then Blade and Union Jack destroyed his coffin. He's not going to be around for awhile, not only that Millar already has that exact story in the works (featuring Dracula), if these writers were to try and break out Dracula, all hell would break loose....maybe not that bad, but their would be repercussions, and millar would be pissed.
Definitely looks like Jubilee's a Vampire... well that's one way to give her powers, but isn't this going to be problematic with Blade being on the team?
I guess Vampire Storm was so popular in Mutant-X that they're trying it with Jubilee. Should be interesting at the least.

Kinda nothing stopping him if Spider-Man, Blade, Savage She-Hulk, and Vampire Jubilee can be X-Men.
I'm thinking Blade would be a mutant. Like Namor, he is a mutation of a known species. Kinda like the Skrull mutants of AOA series set in the future and led by Xavier.
Seriously, just go back to the 90's line-up and everyone will be happy, hell I might even start buying Uncanny X-Men again despite Terry Dodson and Greg Land's art....
I will second that comment. Marvel really needs to tighten the leashes around these writers. The only reason they are going the vamp route is due to all the popularity of that Twilight crap.
