@jordama: True, but it was the only stripy animal I could think of at the time.  If you look at an animal's hair/fur it is also striped throughout the strange of hair/fur.  That's what I was getting at :)  So the markings are actually in Cyrstal's hair.  Which is weird, because that means her hair can never grow, or what would happen if she had it cut extremely short?

Don't need to get it to appreciate it :) but ya I always thought it was some kind of head band or something. Oh well, it gives her a distinctive look, which all superheros need.
