If crossovers were cannon then they would atleast reference it here and there
Crossover
Concept » Crossover appears in 4490 issues.
A crossover is when two or more universes collide and characters from two distinct universes interact.
30 Seconds With Tony: Are Crossovers Canon?
I kinda wish they were cannon. Then we could be one happy disfunctional family with horrible cannon continuity.
No but really I wish they were cannon.
JLA/Avengers is in canon and continuty at the end there were events that lead directly into the Trinity series. Trinity ended with the creation of Earth One that will be used for Superman Earth One and Batman Earth One graphic novels.
Couldn't quite hear what G-Man said about Superman at the end but G-Man answered the Q within 10 seconds. Though I didn't catch what he said the zinger of Superman making dollars and cents was awesome.
He also answered the other Q's quickly. So ppfffttttt to G-Man not being able to answer a question in 30 seconds or less!
Does G-Man get a No-Prize?
The most relevant crossover I've ever read is WildC.A.T.s/Aliens. It killed off a lot of the original Stormwatch characters and it is canon in the Wildstorm U. It's been reference and used several times.
" Yes, I got No prize. As for what I was trying to say about Superman being hard...One of the best (and most subtle) sexual jokes in the history of superheroic comics. Easily.
"
question should be are inter-company crossovers canon for relevance. most arent and take place in seperate
universes/tangents. most depends on if the companies say it was canon or not, which they usually will at some point.
He-man Vs Silver Age Superman was canon for example, but both Superman and Masters Of The Universe were both
published under DC as the same time. that doesnt always hold water either though. Contest Of Champions was published
by Marvel but isnt considered canon, moreso because like Marvel Vs DC, the winners of the matches where determined by
fanvotes, and not the writers. They really sometimes are and arent, it usually is different in every case. even if an intercompany
crossover happens, taking it as any point of reference of how the characters would interact should be judged on the person writing
and what theyre experience with both characters is.
this is a cool comic book it is ok but i think the wolverine and other marvel comic like superman, hulk and more are cool too but spiderman is very cool
JLA/Avengers was definitely cannon... "The Cosmic Egg" thingy at the end went on to be in a few DC stories, and eventually to Trinity. And didn't Scarlet Witch go nuts because of her contact with all the Chaos in the DC Universe? So that's where House of M and all that came from too.
Yeah i read that JLA/Avengers was cannon.I remeber deadpool mentioning Superman in a Cable/Deadpool comic.
" @Primmaster64: Well, Deadpool also references Tobey Maguire around Spider-Man. He's aware of the meta universe, including his own writers and fans. Deadpool is one of the exceptions to pretty much any rule. But, yes. Some crossovers are definitely canon. "
True
I remember this f4/ Superman crossover in which Superman in that universe was a fictional character.
