Going south fast.
Unfortunately this series doesn't seem to be able to hold up very well outside of the mind of Garth Ennis. Rather than write a story dealing with humans losing their humanity when faced with horrible situations and negative outcomes to weigh out Delano (and Lapham) both take the easier route of making their protagonists half crazy from the start, throw in a lot more boobs and sex than seems necessary (or plausible) and drive for the overall shock value instead of turning this series into something incredible. It's as if Ennis wound up a toy car and let it go only to have Delano and Lapham step on it and break it before it gets a chance to go anywhere.
