When hell hounds from the future are sent to capture Phoenix, Excalibur discovers this cute little robot they call Widget. Unfortunately for them Widget is damaged and transports the team to an alternate universe. At the end of each issue Kitty Pryde will reprogram Widget to try to send the team back home. She doesn't succeed on the first few tries and the team goes on a wild adventure that puts them in all kinds of wacky situations!
