This is my recommended reading order:

Crisis on Infinite Earths
Identity Crisis (optional. Has nothing to do with the others, but it's an excellent read)
Infinite Crisis
52
Sinestro Corps War
Blackest Night (and things that lead up to this)

Enjoy. I definitely did.

I suggest you just try some of the boks that came out of COIE's, Blue Beetle et all....considering all these others came out 25 years later.

Yes.  If you want to read books relevant to the original Crisis, read some books from the post-Crisis era.

He's looking for what to read next. Like the next in the saga.

However, Kingdom Come is an excellent read (it's a different universe, though. And has nothing to do with CoIE)

There's a lot of stuff between CoIE and Infinite Crisis (almost 20 years worth).  In no particular order:

Millenium
Invasion
Zero Hour
Underworld Unleashed
Death of Superman/Funeral for a Friend
Emperor Joker

The list goes on and on.

Identity Crisis was good but I wait for the graphic novels for most things and I've got some suggestions:
Batman: Arkham Asylum, The Killing Joke, Battle for the Cowl & Return of the Dark Knight
Green Lantern: Secret Origin & Rebirth
Superman: For Tommorow ( Liked that very much)
Aquaman: The Waterbearer

@JediXMan: Thanks I will try to stick with this order.

You're welcome.

Oh and, after Sinestro Corps War and before Blackest Night, read Final Crisis. I forgot to mention that.

IDENTITY CRISIS

Infinite Crisis, it's approximately 2.8 billion times better than COIE.

In some ways, yes. But I still liked CoIE - and it had a much more complicated plot.

Eh, it kind of annoyed me, after they beat the Anti-Monitor for the first time I was just like "DIE ALREADY!". It was the first comic I ever read though, but the lack of Batman and other favourites of mine certainly didn't help me enjoy it.

Heh, that's true. The second death he had, I thought "and now THIS is his final death!" And then, a few pages later, I realized I was wrong.

Still, reading that saga (the one I posted on the previous page) has to be my favorite comic list of all time. It was just fantastic. Starting with CoIE and ending with 52....

Tis a damn nice list. No Final Crisis, though?

@FadeToBlackBolt:

I forgot to edit the list. But when the TC replied to me, I told him about Final Crisis. It would go between SCW and BN. But it was my intention to add it. It, too, was good (though I did enjoy the others more)

No problem. I should probably edit my list. I was too busy creating my new awesome avatar and profile pic.
