and i was actually thinking about holding off on the Injustice DLC to buy Creeper's New 52 debut.....now i dont think i'll be buying any DC comics for long while, if ever again.

Couple things, where was it confirmed that its Creeper? Did she previously kill him? If not why would his soul be seen releasing from a broken Soultaker? He was in Justice League International #1 and looked nothing like that.....

1. DC released teasers for the Gatefold covers. one said we would be seeing a "New,Old Creeper". This Creeper seems to be an Oni (an homage to the shitty post Reign In Hell demonic origin) which would make him ancient (old) while not Jack Ryder (New)

2. The JLI appearance was a throwaway cameo. several of the pics had no actual weight and were just put there to appease fans.

3. Not pre-Flashpoint, but since this is part of a reboot, its possible that she or a previous wielder of the sword either killed a demon and trapped it in the sword, or maybe its this new Creeper's very presence that draws souls into the sword...

I think that DC are going nearer and nearer the level of stupidness of Marvel.

id probably feel the same way if they werent trying to pass this off as the Creeper, but they are so i want nothing to do with it. im not even sure i want anything to do with dc as a whole anymore.
