    The creature is a seven foot tall amphibious "living fossil" with extremely powerful clawed hands and feet. It is able to swim swiftly, with great agility, and stay submerged for long periods.

    It will often target human females for capture; possibly to mate or feed on as they will offer the least resistance.

    More likely, he is drawn to women as a result of the popular "Friend of All Living Creatures" trope, for in all the original films, the Creature demonstrates a protectiveness for the film's female protagonist, and in most films, only the female characters treat him with any compassion, whereas in his second film the male protagonist uses an electric prod to torture him as a form of bizarre teaching effort.
