Say it with me, "Cowboy Ninja Viking." At first, it seemed like a crazy combination. I had no idea how you could possibly fit the three together into one character. Check out the video review to see how it all works.
I really dug this comic. It is something different. Sure there might be that tiny little comparison I mentioned but this clearly is something different. I like what AJ Lieberman and Riley Rossmo are doing here. It's no wonder that Image decided to change this from a mini-series to an ongoing series. After reading this issue, yes I definitely want more.
Lieberman should have a field day with the combination of three different personalities. I do wonder who these three were chosen. The idea that there are several other members of the Triplets running around practically guarantees a good time. Rossmo's art is something to be seen. It really captures the mood of the characters. Throw in those splashes of blue and it's really a trippy experience.
Bottom line it was a fun comic. Not fun in a way that kids will enjoy it. It has its mature elements to it. What we have here is a new 'world' of characters where you don't need to worry about years of continuity for the existing characters. We have a new series here that you should check out right away to be on board from the beginning. I do feel it will sell out.
