Sorry I have been out of town and not able to do a review. Let's begin.
The cover with the Monarch is very foreboding. I don't know much about him...but now I wonder who is in the armor. As far as I know Hawk/Extant/Monarch is dead. Maybe this is one of his time traveling copies or someone else...who knows.
Mary Marvel...wow she looks good in her new costume. I think from what we see here...Capt. Marvel and Freddy have treated her like crap. I understand why she took her new powers. And she still plans to do good with them...so what is the problem...corruption? All power can be corrupted even good two shoes.
Monarch and Forerunner decided to work together. That should be very bad for the Monitors. And what of the return of the Anti Monitor with the Sinestro Corps. WOW. And DC has me worrying about who is dying next. They talked about Duela and Lightray and The Flash...but someone else big is coming to die. Who is it?
Jimmy Olsen...is soooo uninteresting to me. Kill him.
Holly possibly joining the Amazons. Not really caring here. I like her and all but I just don't see what her impact will be.
Pied Piper and the Trickster on the run. I like this a lot. And they are being followed. Piper wanting to turn himself in to the JLA was great...and so was Trickster's rebuttal.
I really look forward to today's Countdown. It should be great.
