For my next expo I'm thinking of cosplaying Tim Drake.
i will be doing his costume of red and green not red and black.
i was just wondering what i should do for the tights,
should i wear green tights or green leggings?
also if you have any other ideas i would much appreciate them =)

Leggings are going to be infinitely more comfortable and look a bit less ridiculous.

Some people are not meant to wear tights. So depending on how comfortable you are with yourself is if it should be tights or some form of leggings.

As a cyclist I can say that tights can actually be comfortable. Seeing as I've had to wear them for hours on end while on the bike.

@flash_fanboy: It's OK, just trying to help out. Leggings are like tight cloth pants. They're cut very very close, but are a lot more comfortable than tights and they have the benefit of not running or developing holes, they also don't show off everything. Also, you don't need to wear anything over them.

Tights become semi-transparent once they're on.

That would depend on the type of tights. Their relative thickness. There is a huge difference between tights and pantyhose. My cycling tights are no where near transparent. Though they are form fitting. Neither are the tights I wear for a local Ren fest around here.

It just depends on how comfortable you are. Way I look at it is what would draw MORE attention. Tights or leggings. I'm inclined to think tights, so I would go with them. But I spend on average 1-3 hours on a bike three or four times a week, as well as doing 4 hour classes and training days on Fridays. lol

ok well i think i will go for tights coz the only muscly bit of me is my legs XD (I'm an avid runner) so if i have it i might as well flaunt it, as they say :P
but leggings sound cool to so they can always be a back up in case i dont find a good pair of tights or if the tights rip
    =)

    I NEED SOME HELP.
I really want to cosplay for the next Chicago Comic Con! But I have no idea who I could cosplay as.

Any ideas? Preferably DC, but not strictly.
