Creation
Connie Ronnin is a character created in the comic book titled the Southern Knights came out during the 1980's and was created by Henry Vogel and published by Guild Comics up through issue # 8, then published through its final issue # 36 by Comics Interview.
History
A former Olympic fencing silver-medalist Connie Ronnin grew up in a broken home. Unloved by both her mother who never wanted a child and her father who barely gave her any attention Connie would find an outlet for her affection from her stepmother Cheryl. It was her stepmother who taught her the love of fencing at an early age being a avid fencer herself. Connie would be heartbroken when years later her father would divorce Cheryl and leave her again without any emotional attachment to someone who loved her.
Connie would grow to excel at fencing and swordsmanship and even went to become an Olympic fencing silver-medalist for the United Sates. It would not be until quite sometime later under duress that Connie learned she was able to manifest a psychic sword. She could create this 'psychic sword' which causes people struck by it to react as though it were a real sword, but leaves no lasting damage. Being a projection of psychic energy, her sword would disappear when not summoned.

Connie can create a 'psychic sword' which causes people struck by it to react as though it were a real sword, but leaves no lasting damage. Being a projection of psychic energy, her sword is not at all inhibited by armor.
