Robert E. Howard's seminal Conan tale "The Tower of the Elephant"comes to its blood-spattering conclusion in this final chapter of Busiek and Nord's adaptation. Deep in the Elephant Tower, Conan comes face to face with a god-creature from a far-off world, and has his final confrontation with a sorcerer powerful enough and mad enough to imprison a god. The Heart of Yag-Kosha

The finale to the Tower of the Elephant and oh what a goodie.

This story is where it really shows the friendship that Robert E. Howard had with H. P. Lovecraft. Elder things, unspeakable horrors, things that should not be, all kinds of crazy Lovecraftian stuff... and it's all in here.

This is one of the best Conan issues I have ever read to date in this series. Perhaps because I am such a huge fan of Lovecraft, I don't know but this issue was fantastic!

While the past couple of issues barely told a story, this issue told a few! It had more story in it than perhaps the past three or four issues combined. This specific issue was so well written I am amazed.

Dark Horse has done a great job with this. Just when I was getting worried because a few issues in a row were kind of poor (compared to other Conan issues), Dark Horse brought the quality back up!
