Plot Summary

Overview
Conan unleashes an ancient evil of extraordinary power in this story that sets the stage for the adaptation of one of Robert E. Howard's most-praised Conan stories, "The Tower of the Elephant," beginning next month. Civilization continues to prove unsavory to the Cimmerian barbarian as he navigates through the teeming villainy of the City of Thieves. Determined to profit from this den of peril, Conan attempts to rob a luxuriant temple only to find himself face-to-face with an unscrupulous power bent upon its own escape. Yet, even that may not be as troubling as a woman from Conan's past who has returned to the scene, unexpectedly.

    The Crown of Tiamat

Conan is back in his comic thankfully. Of course who was really worried that he would never return? As a matter of fact that's not the only person to return. Jiara, the wench that stole his stuff from a previous issue and Tianna, Conan's new girl who he met at the fence's place.

Catfights over Conan, greedy chicks, and weird monsters destroying things. Oh did I mention Conan takes an interest in philosophy?

It's a really good issue. I like the action in the series but the true gravy is the larger story. This one brings back past acquaintances, and is slowly showing Conan growing and dealing with life in the big city.
