Plot Summary

Overview
Conan’s first Hyperborean adventure reveals the secrets of immortality, and the peaceful northern paradise is shown for the nightmare it really is. Conan breaks from those who’ve enslaved him, but is unable to save the lives of the prisoners he leads, or the woman he’s fallen in love with.

Robert E. Howard hinted at the terrors that his character Conan suffered in Hyperborea, but Busiek and company reveal the adventure here for the first time in livid detail.

    Ashes of a Great Fire

Ah my answers I had last issue were answered in this one. The editor's notes at the end explain a bit about the upcoming stories so i know there will be an end to this story or at least a break in between.

Conan is MAD! Holy cow is he ever mad, he's out to kill all the Hyperboreans and watch out...he just may do it!

I really like how they make Conan ridiculously tough and ugly when he's in battle it's awesome. But then later say in a calm reflective moment he looks normal again.

All I know is when he leads the charge I would dive out of the way with just one look at him.

Be interesting to see next issue just who, if any, are left in Hyperborea!
