CaptHowdy666's Conan #40 - Two Wizards and a Funeral review

Three Storylines at a Time: Hopefully the Max.

Two Wizards and a Funeral is another tale that wanders from the main storyline. Set sometime in the future when Conan is a King, Conan does battle against Thoth-Amon and another wizard.

It's a good story and I like it but I am starting to dislike the jumbled time line that Dark Horse is setting up here. I know there are fans of all kinds of Conan stories. Heck I prefer the ones when he is King. However, I think it takes away from the main storyline of his life they they seem to be concentrating on. For example if Thoth-Amon is here doing battle against King Conan, then nothing really must happen to him (such as death) during Conan's entire lifetime up until then. Of course this is Thoth-Amon we are talking about, but it may happen with other issues within the stories.

I am just wary about branching out in too many directions. There's the new King Conan stories they are printing, the main storyline, and my favorite child Conan stories as well. I just don't need to have my head all mixed up!
