Duels have been fought throughout history. They have been fought to the sounds of clashing sabres and crack of pistols.
One duel was different. It was fought to the earth-shattering roar of big guns, the mighty artillery pieces of World War One. And the two men fighting, Lieutenant Harry Bowden and Hauptmann Franz Boedeker, were not in the relative safety of the batteries... they were right where the shells were landing.
