Overview

The millennium's most massive Marvel smashfest careens towards its cataclysmic conclusion! Four so-called Marvel "heroes" shot the Hulk into space. Their exploding shuttle destroyed his people and pregnant queen. And the Hulk has taught them what their arrogance has wrought. But now the Hulk faces the puny humans' greatest champion. And as the terrible battle rages, who will stand revealed as the hero – and who will be proved the monster? Who knows the difference between vengeance and justice? And who will pay the terrible price of anger?

    The Incredible Hulk/The Sentry

After a incredible start with Hulk as a Marvel Sparticus, and falling in love, then having a vengence for revenge-We get to this last issue of the best concept of last year and it ends with Bruce Banner's back. The Sentry, which really gets on my nerves with the whole loser complex, but being the strongest hero in Marvel UNI., finally gets a chance to let go and pound some one with his 10 million suns punch and dosent start sucking his thumb and asking for his mommy. I loved it, but where did they want to go with it after he got to earth, really the story went no where. I couldn't stop reading but i could not help but feel that we were taken somewhere and droped off in nowhere. I still like the story but the end needed some flare. And not a last page of a long haired Hulk on a barren world spawning fron the dirt.

    The Incredible Hulk/The Sentry

Honestly, this had a bit of a disappointing twist on the ending. Ther explanation made the Hulk look stupid and sweet revenge tatse bitter. I wish they would've left Hulk on that planet in peace (I mean the writers). Planet Hulk will forever be perhaps the best Hulk story ever told. I like that they kept Greg Pak on, but I felt that artist earned his way into the spotlight too. Romita Jr.'s never really been a favorite of mine. I was just glad to move beyond the "Hulk's a ticking time bomb era." All in all this was a bit of a break as far as Marvel Events go. With all the tie-ins there's no time to regather money before the next big event. And considering the size of Civil War, it becomes easier to understand my thoughts on this being a bit of a resting point in the Marvel event situation. Now I'd like to see Daredevil get involved in a big Marvel U event, he always seems to be in the background of these things, never really taking the stage.
