Spoilers
Peter wakes up on his living room floor. After Norman Osborn had seen the news story of Harry calling him a liar and sick while in S.H.I.E.L.D. custody, he knocked out Peter and took off. Apparently the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents watching the house took off after him too. Peter has no choice but to suit up and go after them.
On the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier, Captain Danvers prepares for the arrival of Norman. He has arrived earlier than they thought. They begin shooting at the Green Goblin and finally he is hit. He gets up off the deck and simply says he would like to have a word with his son. The agents begin shooting at him. As this happens, Harry transforms into the Hobgoblin.
Father and son collide as Harry screams at Norman to stop. The agents aren't sure whether or not they should continue shooting with Harry there. Before they can, Spider-Man (somehow) arrives to knock Norman back. Jumping on his back, he vows that he will not let him go. Suddenly, Spider-Man catches on fire, a new power of the Green Goblin.
Harry gets up and starts punching his father again, still telling him to stop. Danvers reluctantly orders her agents to continue firing at them.
Despite being hit by so much fire power, Norman still continues his attack. Spider-Man continues trying to stop him until a rocket is fired at them, sending Spidey flying over the edge. The Green Goblin then fires upon the agents again so Harry jumps back at him. Harry tells him he needs to stop. Norman grabs him by the throat and says he is his father. He pounds him upset at the disrespect his son is giving him. He continues to pound his fists into him. Slowly Harry can be seen transforming back to human. Unfortunately Norman is unaware and continues the beating until there is a sickening "crunch."
The Green Goblin stands over the lifeless body of his son in an increasing pool of blood. He transforms himself. He begs the soldiers to kill him. Danvers is none too happy to oblige him. Spider-Man crawls back up to see the dead body of his friend. Danvers tries apologizing saying she didn't do it but Spider-Man blames her. He tells her to stay away from him from now on. He says she's not Nick Fury and he doesn't know her. She seems to agree as he walks off.
The next day in school, Peter announces to the class that even though Harry has been gone he now knows that he's dead and wants to talk about it. The teacher agrees as Peter tells a tale about Harry defending him against Flash. He stood up for someone that couldn't stand up for themself. That makes him a hero.

Death of a Goblin, Part 6
I was in a state of shock during the end. The issue was mostly action from start to finish. The issue really made you feel like the Green Goblin was just a terrible machine of destruction, fighting S.H.I.E.L.D agents, Harry and Spider-man. I had always thought that Harry would have been the one to die and not Norman, but I couldn't believe it when he asked Carol Danvers to kill him after he killed Harry. Here you have this incredibly evil guy finally getting what he deserved in a quick and easy shot to the head. I'm sure he'll be back some day, but for now "THANK GOD", the beast is dead.
