Injured, Thor goes into the Odinsleep. Once he is between dead and alive, Dr. Donald Blake finds himself on his own. He decides to take a flight to New York to see Jane Foster.
Meanwhile Thor, in the land of the dead, finds Odin. Odin tells him that the power and the throne are now his. He tells him of his time growing up and the death of his father. It's a circle of life. The father must die for the son to take charge. He knew this time would come when he first looked into Thor's eyes.
